The Wedding Crasher’s Ring
The grand ballroom of the Windsor Golf Hotel was a dazzling sea of white lilies, shimmering crystal chandeliers, and the soft, ambient chatter of Nairobi’s highest social echelon. Outside, the perfectly manicured golf courses stretched into the evening fog, but inside, the atmosphere was electric with celebration. For Wanjiru Kamau, however, the event wasn't a party; it was a military operation.
Wanjiru was the managing director of Flawless Unions, the most sought-after luxury wedding planning agency in Kenya. At thirty-one, she was a woman of absolute precision. "Guilty as charged," he said, his voice a smooth, deep baritone that vibrated through the air. "I'm Baraka. And in my defense, the catering here is absolutely spectacular. The red snapper alone is worth a misdemeanor charge."
"You are a wedding crasher. A thief," Wanjiru hissed, reaching for her phone to alert hotel security. "Do you have any idea whose wedding this is? The groom's father is a senior government official. He will...
