The Umbrella we Shared💞

A sudden, intense tropical monsoon had hit the South Coast of Mombasa, turning the beautiful Diani Beach Road into a wild, rain-drenched paradise within a matter of minutes.

The massive, towering palm trees swayed violently against a heavy, dark gray sky, and large, warm tropical raindrops pounded furiously against the white sands and the asphalt pavement, creating a thick mist. Sam was sprinting down the flooded sidewalk, holding his expensive leather briefcase uselessly over his head, his linen trousers completely soaked through and clinging to his legs as he tried to reach the distant, dry shelter of his beach resort.

Suddenly, the heavy, blinding downpour abruptly stopped hitting his head, though the thunderous roar of the tropical rain remained absolutely deafening all around him in the air.
