Here is a mascot concept and an animation plan designed to increase user engagement across the web and Android app.

1. The Mascot Concept: "Somie the Ink-Sprite"

To represent the "Write, Share, Earn" cycle, we need a mascot that feels fluid, organic, and encouraging.

• Appearance: A soft, glowing, teardrop-shaped creature made of "living ink." Its color is a vibrant Soma Teal/Blue that gradients into a warm Amber (representing the "earning/gold" aspect).

• Key Features: * The Nib Tail: Instead of a traditional tail, Somie has a stylized fountain pen nib that leaves a trail of stars or sparkles behind it.

◦ Expressive Eyes: Large, friendly eyes that change shape (stars when a story goes viral, hearts when community members interact).

◦ Form-shifting: Because it's made of ink, Somie can flatten into a bookmark, stretch into a pen, or puff up like a cloud.

To make the platform feel alive, Somie will appear in different states throughout the user journey.

A. The Onboarding (Android App)

• The Greeting: When a user first opens the app, Somie "pours" from the logo into the center of the screen, waves, and holds up a digital quill.

• The Guide: During the "How to Earn" walkthrough, Somie flies next to the text bubbles, pointing at features with its tail.

B. The Writing Experience (Web/Desktop)

• The "Writer’s Block" Nudge: If a user hasn't typed for 5 minutes on the "Write" page, Somie appears in the corner of the screen, sitting on a pile of books, gently tapping its chin or doing a "thinking" animation to encourage them.

C. Social & Sharing (Engagement)

• The "Share" Button: When a user hovers over the Share button, Somie grabs the link icon and prepares to "launch" it like a paper airplane.

• Community Interaction: When a user receives a comment or a "Like," a notification appears where Somie is holding a small envelope or a heart.

D. The "Earn" Dashboard (Gamification)

• Revenue Growth: As the user’s earnings increase, Somie’s glow becomes brighter and more golden.

• Payout Animation: When a user hits the withdrawal threshold, Somie does a "Happy Dance" and transforms into a gold coin that spins and settles into the user’s wallet balance.

3. Technical Implementation

For a seamless experience between Web and Android:
