And the worst part is that nobody can even convince you that you were acting crazy at the time because, in your head, everything made perfect sense. You were there smiling at your phone like an unpaid intern, rereading a “good morning ❤️” message seventeen times and trying to decode whether the heart emoji had deeper meaning.

Meanwhile, the person probably sent that same “good morning ❤️” to five other people.But when you are in love? Eish. Your brain resigns.You stop being a functioning adult and become a full-time investigator of absolutely nothing.

Someone takes three hours to reply and instead of thinking, “Maybe they are busy,” you start building a whole documentary in your head.“Okay, they were online at 2:14 p.m. They viewed my story at 2:17 p.m. They liked someone’s post at 2:19 p.m. It is now 2:23 p.m. Why haven’t they replied?”My sister in Christ, maybe they don't want to talk to you!But no.
