Once upon a time, there lived a clever little boy named Kevin. Kevin loved animals, but there was one animal he loved more than all the others—his goat.

One day, Kevin’s uncle gave him a small goat as a gift.

“Take good care of it,” his uncle said. “It will become your best friend.”

Kevin was very excited.

“What should I name him?” he wondered.

After thinking for a while, he called the goat Bossy.

“I chose that name because you already look like you want to be the boss!” Kevin laughed.

Every morning, Kevin took Bossy outside to eat grass. Then he would go and play with his friends.

But Bossy had a secret talent.

He loved vegetables!
