Chapter 1.

Chief David O Nwankwo, popularly known as chief Don is relaxing in his sitting room well decorated and furnished by the best interior designing company in the country. Sipping his glass of wine as he is reading the magazine and also waiting for the chef to serve his lunch.

His second daughter named Tina walked in as she is just coming back from her expensive luxury shopping at her favorite shopping mall call ROBAN STORES .

"good day dad" she greeted

"ahaa,good day my beautiful angel, where are you coming from"

" as you can see dad,am coming back from my luxury shopping spree".

" oh I see, you always like shopping "

"Yes dad,as the daughter of Chief Don,I will always do shopping as I want".

" as you learn to do shopping also learn to make money too" her father said jokingly .

" I don't need to suffer or struggle because am the daughter of Chief Don, the business mogul and the real estate lord, think about it dad" Tina said jokingly as she walks up stairs.

"hmm, children of nowadays"

Soon, Kenneth the chef served the food at the dinning room.This is a well prepared local delicacy called Akpu and Egusi soup, which happens to be one of Chief Don's favorite food.

"Sir, your food is served" said Ken.

"oh , ok am coming"

Soon his first daughter named Ada walks into the dinning room majestically.

" dad you are here enjoying your self "

" yes my princess, you can join as well " chief said as he is washing his hands to start munching the food.

"Where is this lazy chef, Kenneth!!" She called

"Kenneth !! "

" Yes ma'am" Kenneth answered

" I'm sorry, I wass ..... "

" Sorry for your self, will you get me my food, you lazy fool" Ada yelled angrily

Ada and her sister Tina has been pampered to the extent that no more atom of respect for their elder ones. It all started when they lost their mother at tender age, so Chief made sure that he provides all they want so they won't feel the absence of their mother.

Soon Kenneth brought the food which she requested.

"Here is your food ma'am"

"Next time I called you more than two times again, you will see the other side of me" she said

"Am sorry ma'am" Kenneth pleaded

Her father who doesn't need disturbance when eating his favorite food decided to interject

"It's ok my princess, calm down"

"Dad I won't tolerate this rubbish again, warn him oo. Tell him not to get on my nerve." She said as she gets ready to eat

" You can now go,go,go" Chief dismissed Kenneth

It's just about a week that Kenneth started working as a chef in Chief Don's house,he is not aware of the Chief's daughter's madness. The former chef was almost stabbed to death because she mistakenly spilled water on the floor while trying to serve them food.

As Kenneth was going back to the kitchen, the laundry guy named John followed him immediately into the kitchen.

"Kendoo my guy,is like you have collected the first bullet in this house" he said jokingly

"What bullet are you talking about ?"

"Look let me tell you something very crucial and confidential " said John

" In this house there are people you need to fear the most, first one is Ada and second person is that daughter of Jezebel that called her self Tina. This people are very dangerous and wicked oo"

" Are you serious " asked Kenneth as he became more surprised

"Osiri am I serious, you are still asking if am serious. Look let me tell you, the former cook wey Dem employed here resigned because that Jezebel called Tina nearly killed him with a fork simply because he mistakenly spilled water on the floor while trying to serve her food." Said John as he is trying to caution Kenneth.

" Waw this is really serious,I never knew they will be this wicked. But I will try not to step on their toes " said Kenneth while trying to wash the dishes.

" Well wether you step on their toes or not, don't say I didn't warn you oo,I have said my own"

" Alright thanks for the information, that's very helpful " Kenneth thanked John

" Anyway, anything for your man make I take hold body.i dey ’H' " said John while rubbing his stomach

" Haha John which one is you dey H" asked Kenneth

"Simple language you don't understand. What I mean is that I dey hungry"

"Oooh ,haha no problem I will soon dish out your food"

" Kendoo my man !! That's why I too like you correct man" said John as he praises Kenneth so that he can give him plenty of food.

All the domestic workers in Chief Don's house is very cautious of her two nagging daughters because any slightest mistake may lead to slapping, kneeling down or any other form of punishment. Soon Kenneth gave John his own food and went outside to give Ahmed the gate man his own food.

Soon Tina came out from her room and started calling the cook

"Kenneth!!, Kenneth!!"

"Yes ma'am" answered Kenneth

"What's for lunch?" She asked nonchalantly as she kept pressing her phone

"What would you like to eat ma'am? " He asked

"Are you stupid, why would you answer question with question,is that how your parents raised you up. What is wrong with all this domestic workers,I don't understand.Now I want you to prepare a noodles for me make sure is well prepared "

" Ok ma'am,any other thing ma'am?" He asked

" Get out!! ,fool" she yelled at Kenneth

" Sorry " he pleaded as he walks away hurriedly.

" Sorry for yourself,fool" she cursed.

The next day, Chief Don called Kenneth and John the house cleaner in his room.

"Sir you called us" said Kenneth and John in unison

"Yes I called both of you because I have something important to tell you " he dropped his laptop and faced the two men

" Today is Sunday and I will be having a very important guest today, Kenneth I want you to prepare a very sumptuous food and make sure it's well garnished."

" Ok sir I will do just that " said Kenneth

After he finished talking to Kenneth he faced John and gave him his own assignment

" Now you John,I want you to clean everywhere sparkling clean,no messing up please "

" Ok Chief,no problem " Said John

" Now both of you are are dismissed." Said Chief Don as he gets back to what he is doing in his laptop.

Kenneth and John went back to what they are doing before Chief called. Chief and his family has been living a very luxurious lifestyle because money is not the problem.As a business man he has warehouses scattered across the nation. He is an impoter if all kinds of building materials. He also imports jewelries from Italy, Dubai etc .

He is fondly called the Real Estate Lord because he has estates both in and outside Nigeria.He has Fifty properties in Victoria Island, Banana Island Abuja,Ikoyi,Lekki, etc

Not to mention his five star hotels in Lagos Abuja,Asaba, Port Harcourt ,...
