Seasons and Chapters

Some seasons, some chapters of life

come rushing and crushing.

Some come unannounced,

quietly and subtly as the breeze.

Some are deliberately ushered in.

Some come when they are due.

For some you have a trailer,

a manual on how to navigate.

Most come, and you learn

in the storm they carry.

Some stay and tarry, they vary.

Some finish with you

and bid a good farewell.

Some linger even when they are long gone.

Some are hurriedly,

easily purged and buried.

Some come, finish,

and decimate you completely.

Such is life.

Seasons come, seasons go.

So...
