Rise Up

Its seems like everything is against the African in this human world. A system that has evolved over years, influenced by factors such as corruption, inequality, and neglect has left many Africans feeling broken or out-of-place. This broken system has touched every aspect of life, affecting the black man whether rich or poor, young or old, in ways that make him subhuman compared to other races. The issue of race dominance has remained a chapter most people seem to ignore even though it is clear that some races feel superior to others using false claims and influencing the so-called poor countries into depending on them by creating systems that have evolved since the first time Africans welcomed Europeans in the continent.

The education system, for instance, is a stark illustration of this brokenness. Schools in affluent neighborhoods boast modern facilities, well-trained teachers, and access to the latest resources. Looking closely, you’ll find the modern ‘colonizers’ stacking their children in these schools together with those we call traitors of the black men-those who feed off the system and benefit from it. In underserved areas, overcrowded classrooms, outdated materials, and underpaid educators are the norm. if an individual survives this era of pure struggle they then have to struggle to get jobs promised by the system. In pure astonishment, many educated comrades find themselves having the work of looking for jobs in non-existent markets that are mainly found outside their poor countries. Therefore, there is a large pool of learned individuals as well as skilled who remain unemployed. They find themselves in the unfortunate position to leave their birth places to look for opportunities in the so-called powerful countries. Africa is left struggling for existence because many of its bright minds have been stolen by the self-proclaimed powers of the world to assist them in the continuance of their domination. There is nothing like scholarships of Africans to the white countries. Moreover, the narrative of the black man being inferior to the white man proves that there is no need for them to outsource bright minds because by birth, they believe themselves superior to others.

As Africans we have undersold ourselves for centuries. We have to start thinking for ourselves and solve our own problems. In this we will be able to create solutions to the human race and play the role we are supposed to. It’s time that we treat ourselves as equals on every human-related interaction with other races. We have brilliance in ourselves and since time immemorial we have proved this. From having some of the best scientists, to having sportsmen dominating arenas across the world as well as other fields which the world told us before that we couldn’t do. We just need to embrace ourselves and build ourselves up. Instead of putting each other down as Africans we need to support one another because there is no other way. Africans are all about fun and love and also we can be serious in matters politics and economics and this has been proven by many African entrepreneurs through their invention and persistence to create.

Changing the education system and creating one that solves our problems will go a long way into making sure that the future generations take up from where we have left. The time to start is now. Its starts just by changing our mindset and searching for our real history—The one that shows the dominance we once had as a race when we took part in world affairs as equals. We have to take pride in our skin and our resourcefulness.

The path to repairing the broken system will be arduous, and progress will often be met with resistance from those who benefit from the status quo. Yet, the collective determination of those who believe in a more just and equitable human society will prove stronger. Over time, with the combined efforts of black individuals across the globe, African communities, African nations as well as allies will help the African or black person find true economic and political freedom.

The power of unity, activism, and the relentless pursuit of political and economic freedom should be a major contributor in achieving true freedom for the black person everywhere they are.
