Luanda Magere is a legendary warrior hero of the Luo community of Kenya, celebrated for his supernatural strength and invincibility.

Magere who lived during the pre-colonial era was presumed to have had a body which could not have been injured in battle. When he went to battle, spears and arrows could not penetrate his stone-like body.

He is said to have been born in Sidho village, near the wider Kano Plains, within present day Kisumu County.
