Photos that make you go WTF!

The photograph was taken in November 2003 inside Abu Ghraib prison, near Baghdad. The woman in the image was Sabrina Harman, a member of the US military police.

The man on the ground was named Manadel al-Jamadi.

He had been arrested in Iraq and transferred to Abu Ghraib as a "ghost prisoner," a category used for detainees whose presence was not officially recorded in the normal control systems.

A few hours after his arrival, al-Jamadi died during an interrogation conducted by CIA personnel.

A military autopsy determined that he had suffered severe traumatic injuries and respiratory problems. The cause of death was classified as homicide.

But the story didn't end there.

According to subsequent investigations, the body was temporarily hidden inside the facility. Several photographs were taken during that time, including one showing Sabrina Harman and Sergeant Charles Graner next to the body.
