You have seen her many times. She would always clutch tightly on her bag as she crossed the road, hurrying down street after street trying to get to her bus stop before the rush hour.

You will follow her this time, like a stalker obsessed with her alluring beauty. Her petite body and her strikingly gorgeous frame calling on you. She Will feel eyes on her back, devouring her from out in, but will never turn.

In Nairobi you don't turn. Once you turn and hit a stranger, you realize then, that your bag has grown lighter, your pocket is out screaming how poor you are to anyone who looks. You then pick a carton and lay at a strategic corner along Accra road to beg. You will keep hitting the coins against the yoghurt cup, trying to gauge if the money is enough for your fare home. A light skinned guy will come along trying to impress a girl named Diana, girls named Diana are beautiful and they know it, they make you pay for noticing their beauty. They smile and your uvula swells. They only eat bhajias and burgers, their eggs are made "over easy, the sunny side up".

So the light skinned guy gets to you, gets his wallet and drops a 200 note into your cup, you smile at him but he smiles at Diana, trying to pass a message on his generosity.

You hurriedly get up pick the money you made and throw your cup into a litter bin. You leave the carton for the next turning victim, then hurry down the street to your bus stop.

So our lady walks on and you follow her, you are intent on knowing at least which area she resides, that will ease your pick up lines as it will go somehow like " hey I've seen you somewhere, do you attend church at Citam Kinoo?"

But there is no Citam at Kinoo and our lady doesn't go to the Kinoo bus stop, she goes to some old matatu bearing lavish names, Killeton sacco.
