my first time in Mombasa

My first time to visit Mombasa it was hectic,,,yes hectic.

Understanding their culture was giving me a hard time. My Kiswahili was so terrible and broken for instance greeting old people mambo instead of " shikamoo", the only time I heard shikamoo was during a class session I guess but failed to practice it. Every time they would reprimand me and conclude 'wabara'( upcountry people) we had poor upbringing.

Another thing, they called 'ndengu' pojo, we debated with my cousin on the correct Kiswahili name for ndengu' until she got angry and told me to call it how I want.
