How I Earned My First Tech Coin 😎😂

People think the hardest part about tech is coding.

No.

The hardest part is surviving long enough before the money starts coming in 😭😂.

Because nobody prepares you for that stage where:

your laptop sounds like a helicopter,

your pockets are empty,

your relatives think you’re jobless,

and your only achievement that week is fixing one stubborn bug after 7 hours 😭.

That was my life.

Every morning I woke up motivated.

By evening, life humbled me again.

I used to sit with my laptop like a millionaire CEO… yet the only thing entering my account was motivational quotes 😂.

Still, I refused to quit.

My friends were getting “real jobs.”

Some were already posting office selfies and “God did” captions on WhatsApp.

Me?

I was busy watching:

> “Python Tutorial Part 47”

with 13 subscribers on YouTube 😭.

And the funny thing about tech is this:

When you’re learning, everybody thinks you’re wasting time.

People only start respecting it after money appears.

Before then, you just look like a suspicious person typing aggressively in darkness 😂💻.

At home they’d ask:

> “Hii computer inakupea pesa kweli?”

And honestly… at that moment…

even I was beginning to doubt 😭.

I tried everything possible.

I opened coding accounts online.

Nobody followed.

I built projects.

Nobody cared.

I learned HTML, CSS, JavaScript… then forgot half of it while learning the other half 😭😂.

Sometimes I’d feel motivated after watching successful developers online.

Then after two hours of debugging, I’d start questioning every life decision that brought me to tech.

One time I applied for an online gig with confidence.

The client replied:

> “Can you share your previous work and experience?”

Experience? 😭
