Not listening to your parents is a very bad thing. I learned this lesson the hard way.
I had gotten a job at a cyber café. Back then, I believed my life was perfect. I was young and beautiful or at least I thought so and for the first time, I had my own money and independence. I felt like I could make my own choices without anyone telling me what to do.
Then one day, a man walked into the cyber café to print some documents. He looked much older than me, probably twice my age, but he was handsome and confident. Since it was my job, I helped him with his work, and after paying, he smiled at me before asking for my number.
Without thinking too much about it, I gave it to him. That was the mistake I still regret to this day.

I usually closed the cyber café at exactly 5:00 p.m. That evening, shortly after I finished work, he called me. He told me he was at a nearby club and asked me to join him. I had nothing else planned, and the thought of going home to sit alone felt boring. So, without thinking carefully, I agreed to meet a man I had only known for a few hours.
When I arrived, I found him seated with a group of friends I had never seen before. The moment he noticed me, his face lit up with a smile, and he pointed at an empty seat beside him. I smiled back and sat down.
“You look gorgeous,” he said warmly.
“Thank you,” I replied shyly.
He ordered a drink for me, and naive as I was, I accepted it without hesitation.
As the hours passed, we talked and laughed together. Soon, he suggested we leave for another club because the first one had become “too boring.”...
