When I found out I was expecting a baby I had so many emotions. As a woman who has always struggled with reproductive issues this was and is still a win. Womanhood comes with so much, painful cramps,irregular periods, ovarian cysts,fibroids,hormonal imbalance and a list of so many other things. The worst thing is nobody teaches you this things, you are taught about periods but that's about it,the rest you figure them out on your own.Am told menopause is the real hill,well Time will tell,for now I am taking the challenges one at a time.
Among the first people I told was my then pastors wife and she introduced me to a Facebook community "My New Born and Beyond" That's where I met so many women in the journey of motherhood. There were WhatsApp groups according to expected delivery dates .I joined the May mums and meehn that was the beginning of my welcome to motherhood....
