The actress who has featured in a number of prominent shows including Neema where she acted as Naomi, Tahidi High, Mchungaji, Church Hill Show among others shares her industry experiences in the industry, why she was replaced in Neema show and what she is up-to currently.

Who is Beatrice Wangui?

I am a diligent go-getter, small girl in a big world with hopes, goals and dreams just like anybody else. I enjoy travelling, cooking and reading books. Born to two wonderful parents who love the only true God, Jehovah, I come 3rd out of 5 siblings. We grew up in Nairobi but later some of us chose to live in different parts of the country. I'm an Actor, Singer & Songwriter. I have been brought up in strict but loving true Christian background.

You are a popular actor in the Kenyan acting industry; how did it start out?

Well, acting found me about 15 years ago which was actually by accident and my first show was in Alliance Francaise, with Heartstrings Entertainment Group. We did a play with the likes of Teacher Wanjiku even before she was a household name, same with Eric Omondi, Aliwah David, Chipukizeey and others.
