There was this day I had just come from my village. I was carrying 17 avocados, two buckets of potatoes πŸ₯”, and a few mangoes, because why not? You have to leave the village with something to push life forward in Nairobi. πŸ˜‚

As usual, I took my bike to the stage, then a matatu straight to Githurai.

πŸ˜… That’s where the trouble began.

The matatu stopped up there opposite Kingdom Sacco. The driver went to the boot to unload my luggage, which was packed in a sack.

I don’t know exactly what happened...

I just saw my avocados rolling onto the road like they were in Safari Rally, followed by the potatoes. πŸ˜‚

And those avocados were huge... as big as handballs.

One hit a bump...

BOOM!

It bounced and went straight into a Kanjo lorry...

And cracked the windscreen.

πŸ˜­πŸ˜‚

The rest followed.

There was a traffic police officer there...

One avocado hit his leg, and he slipped, almost falling onto the tarmac.

And the potatoes...

They started chasing people crossing the roundabout.

Some thought goons had attacked.

Others started picking up potatoes like they had been blessed.

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

And I don’t even want to...
