Lately, I feel like I’m disappearing in slow motion.

Not the dramatic kind of disappearing where everything falls apart at once. No. This is quieter. Softer. More dangerous. It’s like waking up one day and realizing the person in the mirror looks familiar, but doesn’t feel like me anymore.

I used to know who I was. I had opinions that were strong, dreams that were loud, and a laugh that came easily. Now everything feels muted. My voice feels smaller. My thoughts feel crowded. I move through my days like I’m on autopilot — smiling when I should smile, responding when I should respond, but inside… I feel blank.

It’s not that I don’t care. It’s that I’m tired.

Tired of pretending I’m okay.

Tired of explaining feelings I don’t even understand myself.

Tired of carrying expectations that don’t fit me anymore.
