Dear diary,

Life is weirdly funny.Not the kind of funny that makes you laugh until your stomach hurts. No. I mean the kind of funny that makes you sit on the edge of your bed at 2 a.m., stare at the ceiling and wonder, “Who exactly approved this storyline?”

Because somehow, life keeps putting you in situations that make you feel like you really just want to get out of it. Makes you wonder what kind of shit you got yourself into.And the funniest part?You are usually already too deep in to simply walk away.

It’s like getting into quicksand and then realizing you left your GPS in the car.At first, everything looks manageable.You tell yourself, “I’ve got this.”Then one thing happens.Then another.Then another.And before you know it, you're standing in the middle of your own personal disaster movie, except there is no dramatic background music, no handsome hero coming to rescue you, and definitely no director yelling, “Cut! Let’s try that again.”No.

This is real life.And real life apparently has terrible writers.So you keep going.Not because you are okay.Not because you are strong.Sometimes you keep going simply because stopping would mean admitting that you have absolutely no idea what you're doing.

And God forbid anyone asks how you are.“I'm fine.”Two words.The greatest lie ever invented.You can be falling apart internally, questioning every decision you've made since birth, mentally packing your bags and moving to another planet, and someone will still ask, “How are you?”“I'm good.”Meanwhile, your brain is screaming:WE ARE NOT GOOD. WE HAVE NOT BEEN GOOD SINCE 2017.

But you smile anyway.Because what else are you supposed to do?You don't want to worry the people who actually care about you. You don't want your problems becoming someone else's problems. You don't want people looking at you differently.
