Celebrating Tiny Wins (Rebuilding in Silence - Part 9)
At that particular time I used to wait for big moments to feel proud.
Major changes. Clear milestones. Obvious success.
But rebuilding didn’t offer those.
Progress showed up quietly, in choices no one noticed. Getting out of bed on difficult mornings. Saying no without explaining. Resting without apologizing. These moments felt too small to matter, yet they carried me forward.
I realized that waiting for big victories kept me from recognizing how far I’d already come. Survival had trained me to overlook softness, to ignore effort unless it looked impressive.
So I started paying attention to everything.
Each small win became proof that I was changing. That I was choosing myself more often over other things. That healing wasn’t something I’d reach one day, it was something I was already practicing.
Tiny wins don’t announce themselves.
They accumulate.
And slowly, they rebuild confidence, stability, and trust, one quiet step at a time.
