BROKE MAN BUYS A CAR
Most cars, owned by men, especially those in their mid 20s to late 30s, were bought to impress a woman, current or ex. Trust me on that, heck I fell for that trap as well. I plunged myself into a Ksh 800,000 debt just to own a car. Am I happy? For the most part, yes. Show me a person happy 24/7 and I will buy you 'mafuru'.
Speaking of mafuru, there's a study that has established milenials are increasingly getting cancer. I mean, we were young eating grandma's mafuru, fenesi, mrenda, brown ugali etc and the only thing that go us was flu. We went to University in Nairobi, graduated, got a job started eating nyama choma mixed with chips pale Kamakis, crocodile meat pale carnivore and now we're getting cancer!
Anyway, let me tell you, human beings are capable of achieving great things. Mostly, we're just lazy. Real motivation comes at the borderline of fear, anxiety, and shame. You're lost, aren't you? Allow me to explain.
Before I bought the car, my wallet was chunky, not fat, but respectable. I was the king of my small financial kingdom. I could cover my bills, send my mom her monthly allowance without breaking a sweat, pay for my brother's rent and food, and still have enough left over to spoil myself with an occasional mountain of Nyama Choma mixed with chips pale Kamakis. Pure bliss!
