Synopsis
UMMI: THE BRIDE OF DEBT
In the poor village of Kafin Gari, Ummi is a bright and hardworking girl who dreams of finishing school and building a better future. But while her family struggles with poverty and a growing debt that threatens to destroy their lives, Ummi continues to help however she can.
Every month, she joins other village children at the magnificent Danko mansion, where they clean and maintain the estate in exchange for gifts that help their families survive.
On one ordinary cleaning day, Ummi catches the attention of someone powerful—someone whose decision will change her life forever.
