Chapter 1: The Prophecy
The night sky burned red as lightning flashed across the ancient forest.
Alone beneath the storm, eighteen-year-old witch Elara ran through the trees, her heart pounding. She had spent her entire life hearing the same warning:
"Never trust a vampire."
For centuries, witches and vampires had been enemies. Blood had been spilled, families destroyed, and kingdoms lost because of their hatred.
But tonight, everything was about to change.
A powerful force pulled Elara deeper into the forest. She followed it until she reached a ruined stone circle hidden among the trees.
Suddenly, a cold voice echoed behind her.
"You shouldn't be here."
Elara spun around and froze.
Standing before her was a man with dark hair, glowing eyes, and a presence that seemed to command the darkness itself.
He was a vampire.
Not just any vampire.
He was Lucien Draven, the feared Vampire Prince.
The same prince the witches believed would one day destroy them all.
Their eyes met.
For a brief moment, neither of them moved.
Then a strange mark appeared on Elara's wrist, glowing silver beneath her skin.
Lucien stared at it in shock.
"No..." he whispered.
Because he recognized the symbol.
It belonged to an ancient prophecy.
A prophecy that foretold the union of a witch and a vampire.
A union that could either save the world... or destroy it.
And at that moment, both of them realized their lives would never be the same again.
