Every time Blue Ivy Carter makes a public appearance, the same reaction seems to fill social media: people are amazed by how much she resembles her mother, Beyoncé.
Now 14, Blue has grown up largely in the public eye as the eldest daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z. In February 2026, she joined her father and younger sister Rumi on the field before the Super Bowl, wearing an Off-White varsity jacket, dark jeans and sunglasses. Photos quickly circulated, and once again, fans pointed out similarities between Blue and her famous mother.
A similar reaction happened in December 2025, when Blue sat courtside with Jay-Z at a Los Angeles Lakers game. Her oversized jacket and burgundy Isabel Marant wedge sneakers caught particular attention because the shoes closely resembled a style Beyoncé wore years earlier.
But Blue Ivy’s story is becoming about much more than family resemblance.
At just nine years old, she became one of the youngest Grammy winners in history when “Brown Skin Girl,” featuring Blue alongside Beyoncé and Wizkid, won Best Music Video in 2021.
Then came the stage. Blue began dancing with Beyoncé during the 2023 Renaissance World Tour. By 2025’s Cowboy Carter Tour, her role had grown considerably, with Blue appearing throughout the show and even taking center stage for parts of the choreography.
She has also stepped into acting, voicing Kiara in Disney’s 2024 film Mufasa: The Lion King.
Blue Ivy may always remind people of Beyoncé—that comes naturally when a daughter shares her mother’s features, style and stage presence. But with every performance and project, she is also beginning to build an identity that belongs entirely to her.
