Two Pink Lines
I never imagined that two tiny pink lines could change the course of my entire life.
It was early in the morning. The house was quiet, but my heart wasn't. It pounded so loudly I could hear it in my ears as I stared at the pregnancy test in my shaking hands.
One line...
Then another.
I blinked several times, thinking my eyes were playing tricks on me.
They weren't.
I was pregnant.
I sat on the edge of the bed, holding the test against my chest as tears rolled down my cheeks. They weren't tears of fear. They were tears of wonder.
