The usual crew had gathered at their favorite local spot after work.
Peter worked in customer service.
Brian was an accountant.
Achieng was a teacher.
Moses worked in procurement.
Normally, the conversation would be football, politics, or complaints about fuel prices.
Tonight, it was AI.
And everyone seemed nervous.
Brian took a sip of his drink.
"It's not just reports. AI can analyze spreadsheets too."
Peter laughed nervously.
"Then what exactly are accountants supposed to do?"

"My students are already using AI for assignments."
Moses shook his head.
"My company started testing an AI tool for procurement documentation last month."
Peter felt a knot forming in his stomach.
