Daniel woke up screaming.
His entire body was drenched in sweat.

He sat upright in bed, struggling to breathe.
The digital clock beside him read 2:43 AM.

A soft knock came from the door.
His mother rushed inside.
"Daniel!"
She sat beside him and wrapped her arms around him.
"It's okay. You're safe."
Daniel shook his head.
"No, Mom."
His voice trembled.
"No, we're not."
Sarah's heart tightened.
"What happened?"
