Learning the New World
The following morning, I woke up excited.
There was something satisfying about knowing I could now move around the college freely and begin familiarizing myself with the environment.
Everything was still new.
The buildings.
The people.
The routines.
The feeling of being responsible for myself.
A colleague whom I had never met before introduced me to the student centre and later accompanied me to the student cafeteria for breakfast.
The food was very nice.
It was a small thing, but moments like that made the new environment feel less intimidating.
After breakfast, we walked around campus.
