Janet was pleading with Itopa not to reveal what had happened between the two of them to her husband, Adams. She was pleading with her hands, but she couldn't speak because Adams was standing right in front of her and she didn't want him to notice anything. She pleaded desperately, with emotional tears rolling down her cheeks, while her eyes remained fixed on Itopa.
Then Adams asked him to speak up and tell him exactly what the problem was. He wanted to know why Itopa had not replied to his messages for the past few days and why he had refused to answer his calls. Not only that, his wife had also told him that during those few days when he failed to answer his calls, he had remained indoors, and the reason was still unknown.

He explained that Janet had stepped into the gap despite the fact that she was younger than his late mother. He believed that perhaps his late mother had brought Janet into their lives to console them and ease the bitterness of her absence.
